On friday Karabo and Leorato came for a sleepover. The girls were really annoying. I had to play playstation for half an hour The girls were mean to me. They would’nt let me play any games. I went outside and played on my bike. Then we went to sleep.The next day people were very mean they kicked me around at church. Then we went home and played buzz jungle party I always wanted to be the green monkey. We went to get our dinner. Karabo and Leorato went home.

My Fabulous Weekend by Virginia

On saturday I was at my nanas house. When I woke up I heard the washing machine was on. So I knew my nana was doing he washing. So I went and assissted her to do it. Then after I dashed to the computer room. First I went on Bebo and checked my account. I was cheery because before I had 98 hearts but now I have 104 hearts. Then I gave a heart to Ashlee and my mum.Then I signed out and checked my email. I got a email from buildabear saying that I get free 200 points! I was amazed. Then I went on www.barbiegirls.com and played on it. Her username is dusky106. I bought my character some new dresses and a new tiara! Then I went to my barbiegirls home and gave it a little clean up.Then I fed my kitty. I named It Cookie. Its white with perrywinkle stripes. I like her perrywinkle stripes . They are purrfect!.Then I logged out and ran back to the living room and watched tv.

Shim - Church

Last Sunday we went to the church,very early. We always go to church on Sunday but things seem to be different. Everyone is cleaning up outside. They are doing hard work outside and the kids....THEY DO NOTHING!!!So we felt so boring,monotonous. Suddenly I got an idea. My idea is asking my aunty if we can watch the telvision upstairs inside the church. You know what she said? She answered....YES!Yippie!! It was tremendous.There are heaps of interesting movies in there. I felt great and do you know what I mean.....I DON’T FEEL BORED!!! Oh no I heard my mum calling me. Oh oh I’m going home. I said bye bye to my friend and also the television. My friend laughed. I felt iritated. Oh well I guess I have to go. That was fun watching the television.

Yesterday at 4:30 pm I went to Mt Eden because it was our god Sia Baba’s birthday and he was turing 83 years years old .When it’s his birthday it rains. When we got there the Mt Roskill Kids were geting ready” thats my center”. When our show started I was petrified. When my group was dancing I was traumatized and proud of the whole group. People clapped. They said we showed one of the values “ Eneti . I really had lots of fun with my family and friends and Sai Baba . I hoped that he had a very good birthday party with his children.

On the weekend we wet to the MT Wellington mountain. I stepped on poo My dad did too. When we reached the top we had a pit stop. We drank some water. In the weekend my nana went to Tonga to see her mum because she has lost some weight. So my nana took heaps of food so they can eat. My grampa went to take my nana to the airport. I was feeling despondent because i did’nt take my nana to the airport. When my nana come's back from Tonga my cousins are going to come from Australia for Chirstmas. We are going to a beach.My nana is going to make pineapple pie. Before my nana made jam pie just for a treat. I had a sad day when my nana was gone.

On Friday we went to buy food and cake for my Dad because it was his birthday.  I was happy and so was my little brother. We watched High  School musical 2.  They like High School Musical and after that we ate KFC.  I t was yum.  We enjoyed the KFC and we sang Happy Birthday to him and we went to watch tv.  We like High School Musical.  It was fun.  After that we went to sleep.  On Saturday we watched cartoons.  My other brother went to another house.  My brother was crying because Junior went to the other house.  He was crying . We watched cartoons on tv and we went to sleep on Saturday night.

On Sunday I went to my friend's house to play a game.  We played spaceships.  It was hectic.  I had to pluses.  It was easy but 3 or 4 of them are not that easy at all.  So time was up and I tried to get something.

On Sunday I watched TV.  I had breakfast.  It was weetbix.  I massaged my Nana's back.  Me and my family were watching tv.  I felt sleepy and I went to bed for a nap.  My Nana woke me up to play with my cousins.  My cousin was hungry so I gave him food and we played.  We ran around the house and went to my bedroom and played.  My other cousin was looking at himself in the mirror.  I tried to take him away.  My uncle was watching tv.  He changed it to music and my two cousins were watching.  My uncle was mowing the lawn.. My little cousin was so sleepy and my u uncle and cousins left.  I was sad.  My Nana said goodbye.  We were waiting for dinner.  When dinner was ready I set the table and we prayed.  We ate .  It was yummy.  We ate.  It was yummy. I watched tv. My Nana had a shower and I changed into my pjs.  My Nana bought the bed and we watched the Simpsons.  It was funny and I had some milk.  When the Simpsons finished,  I went to bed and wrote in my notebook.  I watched a movie and went to bed.  The movie was cool.

On Sunday we went to church.  The priest said all the kids standup.  I stood up and we went to the kids' section.  I was excited.  It was my first time to do that.  When we got there we made a circle amd sang a sorry song and then we prayed.  Suddenly we heard the fire alarm and all the kids went rushing to their paretns.  I saw mine and I went with them.  We didn't see any fire or smoke.  After that the fire truck came and the firemen checked it.  We were outside for 30 minutes.  One of the firemen told us to go inside.  In the afternoon we went to the ASB showgrounds.  There were lots of people there and Mum and I bought my Dad perfume.  There were cool shades and we looked at some things.  My Mom bought my Grandpa a watch.  The colour was black and gold.  Finally we were at the counter.  When we went outside it was raining.  We were in the car and I was sleeping.  When we were nearly at home I got the mail.  My Mum gave the perfume to my Dad.  It was Brut.  I watched tv at home.  I went to sleep because I was tired and I wished we would go fishing next time.  I had a really wonderful weekend.

On Ssaturday 22 November my aunty had a baby boy.  I felt aroused because they came to my house.  Then they went to Mt Wellington.  My Nan is going there but she has to wait because there are too many people there.  I was upset because I couldn't go to Mt Wellington to see the baby.  It was a marvellous day.

Yesterday Dad, my sister and I drove to my sister's friend's house.  When we left her we went to St Lukes.  We went into Kmart.  I was looking for a Christmas and birthday present but I haven't found a birthday present.  Then we ate lunch.  We ate Macdonalds.  I ate a sandwich with a sundae

I got a toy called the Bilby.  Then we went back to K mart to find a birthday present and I found a hotrod.  Its doors can open and the engine pops up.  I really like it.  Next we went to Western Springs.  We saw geese and eels.  Then we played on the playground.  I played on the swing.  I found a long stick.  I used it as a fishing rod.  Sometimes I whacked the water.  Then we went home and I had a gorgeous day.

On Saturday morning I helped my Dad and my Mum pack.  We went to the other house.  I felt sad  because I'm going to miss my school.  When we got there I helped my Dad and my big brother.  When we had finished we went back home.  When we got back we packed up more.  When we got there we lifted some more stuff upstairs.  Then we went home.  I felt happy because we were lifting all of that stuff.  When we got back into the truck I said that was easy.  Then we went home and had a rest.  When we finished having a rest we went to get some vegetables and meat and some other stuff.  We went home and had lunch.  We had cookies and sandwiches.  After that we went outside to play.  We had a long time.  Then we had dinner and went to bed.  In the morning we went again and after we had to go to the pet shop.  We bought a bunny.  It keeps on following me.

Last Saturday we went to Rainbows End.  We went on lots of rides.  I was afraid on the roller coaster.  Some rides were traumatized rides.  My sister went on the Power Source.  She got over anxious.  We went on most of the rides and my sister was not scared on the Fearfall.  I was not scared for my sister but for my Mum and my aunty.  They were scared.  My Dad didn't play on lots of rides

I was amazed at how much air pollution there was in our air.  We are all thankful for your special advice.  I have now learnt not to use the car too much.  There is nothing wrong with walking.

Yesterday I watched rugby.  It was the All Blacks versus Wales.  It was an exciting match.  I was cheering for the All Blacks.  My brother was cheering for the All Blacks too.  I was displeased that the All Blacks almost lost but they were catching up to Wales.  Then the All Blacks won.  Then I went to sleep.  I felt happy.

The Race by Virginia

Last Thursday it was the cross country race.  I was in the year 4 girls' running team.  I liked it when we got stuck in the mud.  It was gooey .  I didn't get a place but I was proud of myself that I had fun.  I just think to myself that it is not about winning .  Its about having fun.  If you come in a place then you worked hard and succeed.  Even though I didn't get a place I sure did have fun.  I liked it when Mrs Cater squirted us with the hose.  I got squirted and I was laughing.  I saw many parents on the benches watching us run.  There were some big people who helped us with the cross country.  I was puffed when I passed the office.  I didn't make it in the race.  I came 5th or 6th.  I liked the cross country because it was funny.  I saw two big boys running.  They were all wet but they didn't look puffed either.  Corrissa won the year 4 girls' race.  Someone told me that Corrissa won and that she also last year as well.  Although I didn't win I did better and I got better at running and at my old school we had a race and I was in the 8th place so I think I've gotten better.  SRS is the best school I've been to because they have the best rules to keep us safe and have fun.  I feel really safe in this school and I also have fun, especially the cross country and the other fun trips.  I had fun at the cross country .  It was a brilliant day.

On Sunday my friend and me played.  I had a drink. It was yum.  I said lets go on the bikes.  We went round then I helped Grandad with the door.  It was broken.  We fixed it.  Then we went home.  We had dinner.  It was yum.  We went to Countdown.  We bought milk and bread.  We got in the van. In the morning I played at my friend's house.  We played and I got to the park.  We went to my friend's house.  It was fun.  We played in the park.

The Cross Country by Suli

On Thursday we had cross country.  We had to bring our drink bottles and sport clothes.  First it was the year 5 girls.  Mrs Allfrey said we have to do stretches before we run.  Next Mrs Alfrey blew the whistle and the girls all ran.  The boys and girls were cheering.  A girl from room 20 came first.  Then it was the year 4 girls.  They did stretches.  When the whistle blew they were all speeding fast like super cars.  Room 22 was cheering for Karabo but then another girl beat her.  A girl from room 21 came first.  Now it is the year 4 boys.  Mrs Allfrey  blew the whistle and we all ran.  I tried and tried to keep up but they were just too fast.  I got tired but I tried my personal best.  Luke from room 21 came first and Ryan in room 20 came second.  I came 7th out of the year four boys.  Finally it was the year 3 boys and girls.  When Mrs Allfrey blew the whistle I was cheering for Ariki and Andy.  Ariki came first and Andy came second.  We went back to class.

Last Sunday we went to church.  We got there very early.  We sang and enjoyed it.  Then we heard we had sunday school with Aunty Felicity.  She will be our guide.  She taught us about forgiveness which is kind.  After Sunday School we watched a movie called Game Plan.  It was fun to watch and it is funny.  Then my sister said its lunchtime.  I said" Oh yummy".  Then I said "I will get my lunch".  I got two cookies, fried rice and milk.  Then I saw someone eating sausages.  Then I asked where she got it from.  She answered from Uncle Jeff.    I went to him and got the sausage and ate it all.  After that we went to the shop and bought a barbeque.  Then I went home and cooked with the barbeque.  We had pork beef, chicken and sausage.  We also had bread, ketchup and mustard to add. It was delicious.

Yesterday I went to the Warehouse to buy fireworks for Guy Fawkes.  First I got a trolley to install the fireworks and for my baby brother to sit in.  Then Dad said to get a newspaper and asked me to get two green boxes and one box of blue heads and the hardest box was the earthshaker but it was good for me because it was like exercise.  After the lady put the sold sticker on.  Later we went to Hoyts cinemas to buy 3 tickets for- two for Tuesday and one for Monday.  Dad has the Monday ones and the Tuesday tickets are for my Mum and I.  Tomorrow we are going to watch the uproarious movie Heroes.

Yesterday we went outside and we were playing tiger war.  It was a splendid game  We versed 3 people and we had lots of skinny people.  So we  lost because they had fatter people than me and stronger than us.  Then I got a bleeding hand.  Then I played once more and we won.  Then I went home to have a shower and went to bed.

On  Tuesday the school had a birthday.  First we went to the hall.  Some people like Shim performed on the stage and some other people.  Last of all we had a band.  Mr Nevezie read us a book from the Memories book.  He read us only one story.  After that we heard the band.  Finally Mr Nevezie said take your children out.  Later on we had to take our own chairs and crown and our lunch-boxes.  Then we played Happy Birthday.  Then all of the other students sang along with us.  I had a lovely day on Tuesday.

On Saturday I went to Greenlane Countdown.  We bought bread and some vegetables.  When we got home we had lunch.We had sandwiches.  Next we went outside.  We played ball.  My little brother did'nt want to because he had to go to the doctor's because he was sick.  I played ball with my sister.  When my little brother got home he went up stairs and me too.  I played on the x box.My sister and brother were playing on it too.

In the weekend I had a sleepover at my house.  I was hyperactive because all my cousins came to my house.  The boys went to my brother's room and the girls went to my room.  At my room I had lots of jewels inside and its white like snow.   In my brother's room  he has spiders inside and its colorful like a waterfall.  It was uproarious because my brother put spiders inside the girls' bathroom.  My cousins got petrified and me as well.

Last Thursday we had cross country.  I was very hyperactive but still determined.  I was interested in the races.  When the year 5 girls went up to their race I was trying to see who had won.  The year 5 boys were very fast.  I wondered if I could beat one of them.  In my race I ran fast, jumped over a obstacles, kept running , jumped over a pole, then ran over mud and water.  Then I ran on the playground and jumped over a bench and ran rapidly past the finish line.  I was puffed and proud.  Then we went to class.  I felt like a champion.

On Saturday my sister was getting ready for her sleepover.  She said I might sleepover at Melvyn's house.  I had to stay till about 6 o'clock. We played Indiana Jones.  It was fun kicking the bad guys.  My Mum picked me up and I had to go to a house full of people.  There were 6 people.  At the sleepover two tackled me.  They were very nice to me.  We had to go to United video.  I got Star Wars lego  and Madagascar. The next day two of my sister's friends woke up first.

Cross Country by Ishwanka

Last Thursday it was Cross Country Day.  I ran in the year 4 girls' bunch.  I came 18th.  I wasn't keen on that place.  It was kind of disappointing for me.  A girl called Carissa came in first place.  I wanted to be 2nd.  First the year 5 girls ran then the year 5 boys ran.  Next year 4 girls ran then the year 4 boys ran.  Next the year 3's ran.  All the runners had to step in the mud.  It was slimy and filthy.  Mrs Cater threw hose water on us.  We all got wet.  I was puffed at the end of the race.  We had to jump over obstacles.  We went around the whole school.  It was an ideal Cross Country day

On Tuesday we went to the hall .  I liked the part when Shim sang.  It was nice and her voice was very very nice.  After that we went to eat.  It was fun.  I ate chocolate.

Yesterday it was Jubilee Celebration and I was very excited.  Mrs Fischer told us that we have to finish our writing.  After we finished our writing we went to the hall and all the classes too.  Some other classes sang on the stage and after it was Shim's turn to sing.  After Shim sang we went back to our classroom and we read the books in the box.  Later the bell rang and then Mrs Fischer said we have to get our lunches and chairs.  Then we went outside and when we went outside I saw all the teachers and the classes too.  Then we sat down and ate our lunches.  After we went back to class again and we removed the chairs and the tables.  We played games.  Later we got our bags and hats and then we went outside.  We had some lollies and later the bell rang and we all went home.

On Friday I went to my friend's house because I was going trick or treat with her.  We were both hyperactive.  She was a wicked witch..  She was given a wig.  Our first lolly was a candy cane.  Our second house was a lady who comes from Philippines.  She gave me a tim tam and she gave my friend marshmallows.  My friend Maxine's hat kept falling off her head.  Some houses did'nt have any candy left so they gave us something else like raisins, brownies and other food.  My favourite treat was nuggets and Maxine's favourite treat was grain waves.  My last lolly was a picnic and crunchie and Maxine's last lolly was nuggets and chocolate.  We both traded lollies.  I traded her my picnic and she traded her nuggets.  After trick or treat my brother and my Mum and I watched Monster  House.  It was so scary after watching we went to sleep.  

It was a fabulous day!

Cross Country by Bianca

On Thursday  we competed in the Cross country.  We had a race and it was fun because we got muddy and wet.  We also had to jump obstacles.  Then we jumped on these big blue things by team 5.  It was not easy but it was cool.  I came in 9th place and my friend Shim came in 7th place.  She was lucky.  Next we were stretching because we went around the school.  People were very tired so they had to lie down on the ground or sit on the grass too.  That was not me.  Everyone was clapping for the year 4 girls.  Then we watched other Team 3 people racing.  Then it was tomorrow and in the afternoon we had ice blocks and it was yummy and frost bitten.  I had an appealing day.

50th Birthday by Avishay

On Tuesday it was the school's 50th birthday.  We had to do lots of stuff like we had to make crowns as party hats.  We also had a concert;  It was good.  We had 8 performances.  They were good but for the last one.  They had to set up everything but then Mr Nevezie came out and told us a little from the Memories book.  It was nice.  Later we had lunch with the school.  Next we had a play and and then we went to our classrooms.  Finally we played games and then we got 2 treats.  then we all went home.  It was lot and lots of fun!

Yesterday Dad. Mum my sister and I went to Botany Downs.  On the way I looked out the window saying to myself to beat the other cars.  When we got there Dad and I walked into Whitcoulls to the first floor and took an escalator to the 2nd floor and I was looking for the lego and there were different sorts.  Then I saw the Kenx collection and you can combine the trucks over and over again.  When my Dad came he said "How do his new sunglasses look? " Then he just disappeared and I went shouting in the store looking for Dad  Then a stranger asked if I was lost and she took me from  where I was and Looked behind.  I saw Dad and I said where was he and he was at the toilet.  Then I asked if I can buy the Lego and he looked at the price and said " because it's too expensive.  So I chose the Kenx collection but it's too expensive too.  He said that I can buy it for Christmas.  Next we went to find Mum and my sister.  My sister is having  a hair cut.  Then we ate McDonalds for lunch.  I got a toy called Heatblast and then we went home.

On Friday it was Halloween.  Then my friend's Dad picked me up to go to their house.  After that my friend and I put on our costume.  My costume was a witch.  Finally we did trick or treat.  It was my first time to do that.  I had fun.  We had lots of lollies.  We went to my friend's neighbours.  They gave us lollies.  Then we went to my friend's house.  We watched a scary movie.  The movie was called Dawn of the Dead.  There were lots of zombies.  I just watched the movie a little bit and I ate my lollies.  It was yummy.  Then I went home.  I said to my Dad I had fun doing trick or treat and I told him I got heaps of lollies.  I'm so excited  and next year it is Halloween again.

Yesterday we went to the Silver Bell market with my grandma and my sisters.  We like to go to Silver Bell because it is very clean over there.  My sister and I went to buy cream biscuits, yummy.  My Mum bought pears, orange, and carrots.  Then we were buying food at Silver Bell.  Next we went to my friends.  It was frenzied because we hadn't been there for a while.  We played Monopoly.  It was fun and easy for me to play.  Next we went to KFC to buy chicken there.  Then we went home to eat KFC.  It was nice.  Later I played on the computer and then I watched tv with my sister.  After I fell asleep on the couch.  Then I woke up and my sister was watching Sticky T V.  She loves to watch it every day but she has ballet so she can't watch it.  After a while I played on the computer again.  Then I was reading my book from the library.  It was a great story for me.  Finally I was playing  on the computer again.  Then at night we watched the fantastic four!

On Saturday my family said to me that we are going to my auntie's house. She lives on the farm.  I was stimulated.  When we were in the car I didn't know that my aunts, uncles, and my friends are coming with us.  We stopped at my friend's house. I wanted to get out of the car but I was not allowed because it was raining a bit.  Then after we went to my auntie's house.  It was a long way.  It took about one hour.  After one hour we made it there to our auntie's house.  First my companions played frog tiggy.  It was fun.  Then we had our lunch.  I ate chicken.  It was scrumptious.  After eating we played tiggy in the dark.  My friend Angelo kept on scaring me.  After that their parents and my parents said we're going to see how to milk cows.  When we made it there it was stinky a bit because the cows wait they sometimes poo and wee.  When we went home to our auntie's house we played frog tiggy again because it was our favourite game.  After the game we all went home.  It was marvellous.

Yesterday it was Labour Day.  First we woke up and brushed my teeth.  I watched tv.  After I brushed my teeth we were listening to music.  Then we had a tea.  I just ate a sandwich with mayonnaise, cheese, lettuce and chicken.  After that we did weight lifting with my little brother and my big sister.  I could only lift the easy ones.  Then we had a clean up around the house.  We cleaned the garage first.  My Mum put liquid on the ground.  Then my other sister brought a bucket of hot water.  Then she tipped the hot water.  My brother's shoe got wet.  We started wiping the ground.  She put more and more on the ground.  After that we went fishing.  I felt very excited.  We went to the shops to buy bubble gum.  Then we went to buy a fishing rod.  We couldn't find one.  Finally we went home.

On the weekend I played.  We went to a sale in Tauranga.  It was fun in Tauranga shopping.  At 9pm we got back to eat.  It was yum.  I got up to play at the park.  Grandma found me.  We went back to see if auntie got up.  They had lunch .  Next we all went to a sale.  I bought a desk and chair.  We are painting it green and red.  It is dirty.  I have to set it up.  We are putting it somewhere.  I have to help grandpa to get the tv out of the van.

On Saturday we went to Pak 'n Save.  We bought milk, milo and chocolates and other stuff.  Next  Sunday we will go to church.  I was excited because it will be my communion on Sunday.  I'm learning about Jesus and there will be the holy bread and the mask.  My Dad said I'm also learning about the sacraments.  My parents will be in the church too.  My Mum is on duty so my  Dad and I just stayed at home.    I played on the computer for a little while and then I watched t.v.  I'm really excited about my communion and I just need to practice at home about Jesus and what happens in the story to him.  I'm going to finish my communion next year.  At home I ride my scooter. I did 5 or 4 laps when I ride.  It was fantastic but I have to be careful.  I might fall.

On Friday I was thrilled because I was going to my Nan's house.  When my Mum came back from work my brother and I packed our clothes.  I packed my sister's clothes and my Mum packed her own clothes.  When we arrived at my Nana's house I rushed to the computer.  I was giggling because every time I go to my Nan's house I rush to the computer.  My Nana calls me a computer magnet.  Then I thought I should be watching t.v. with my Nana.  So I ran to my Nana and stayed with her.  Then I helped her to make dinner so it can be ready faster.  Then I went on the computer.  As soon as I went on the computer I checked my emails.  First I got an email from Buildabear.  Buildabear is a fun website for kids where you can compete with people on differentfun activities.  The first game I played was FAST PAW.  In the game there will be a baseball glove and a ball.  These are the rules.  First you are not allowed to get the ball on the ground and I think that's it.  When I was tired I had  a shower and went to bed.  On Saturday I was at my Nan's house because I slept there on Friday.  I went on the computer and my Nana called me a computer magnet agin.  First I went and checked my emails.  I felt weird  because I already have 5 email addresses,  two on hotmail , two  on yahoo, and one on google!  So I gave one to my brother.  Then my Nana called me for breakfast.   For breakfast we had toast, eggs, and tea. Yummy!  Next I watched Cory in the House.  It was hilarious.  My favourite character was Sophie because she is very very tricky.  Then at 7 o'clock I had dinner with my Nana.  I had chopsuey and chicken. Yum!  After I got tired and had a shower and went to bed>

On Monday I went on a trip.  I went with my mother's friend.  Then we got to the train station.  We went out of the station . Then we went to a big building where you get your tickets for the trip.

On Tuesday it was Diwali.  It was a lot of fun.  We had firecrackers and we had sweet dishes.  We had decorations and candles.  Some hindus say that Diwali is when Ram killed the 

Devil Ravan and came back to his palace.  So we lit candles  all through our house for Diwali.  Diwali is marvellous.  It's my favourite festival.

On Sunday I had a sleepover at Avishay's house.  When Avishay came I was cheerful.  When we got to Avishay's house we played Superheroes,battles and secret agents.  It was great fun.  Then we played Scaler.  It was really cool.  It was an adventure.  It was great because we could use an electric bomb attack.  Level 2 was really hard.  There was a monster that could shoot electric guns at once.  It was hard defeating the monster but I made it.  Later we went on the trampoline.  It was fun.  Avishay could jump higher than me.  Then we played soldiers inside.  We had great fun and then I went home.

My Birthday by Olivia

On Saturday I was excited because it was my birthday.  In the morning when I got up my Mum said Happy Birthday.  Then she gave me my present. I got a little silver and pinkish bag.  Then at 11 o'clock I went with my aunty and uncle.  We went to the dress shop to buy me a new dress.  We bought a skirt with pants under it.  Then we went to Macdonalds.  I had a ham and cheese burger and chips and juice.  It was lime juice.  Later when we got out of Macdonalds we went back to the Warehouse.  We bought a big box of colouring in pencils and markers and some pastels and everything else.  Then I went home and drew because I like drawing.  Then my aunty came.  Her name is Barbara.  She came to see us.  She bought some cake for me.  Then she took me out.  We went to Sylvia Part Countdown.  We bought some sausage rolls and some buns.   Then we had dinner.  I did'nt want dinner because I had heaps on my birthday.  I decided to have a party with my family.  Then I went to bed.  It was a fun day on my birthday.

Yesterday my Mum, Dad and I went to feed the ducks with my friend.  I was afraid because a whole lots of ducks could bite me.  The ducks were in the lake so we just threw bread on the grass in small pieces.  Then my friend and I went to collect some shells.  When I was collecting the shells  iI found some dry crab.  After that we went to another park near the swimming cub.  I went on the monkey bars, the swing and the flying fox.  Finally we went to buy some food.  It was chicken and chips.  It was yum!  Finally we went back home to wait for my brother to come back from my aunty's house.  I had a lovely day feeding the ducks.

Labour Weekend by Rahul

On the weekend I felt excited because it was Diwali.  I got a sentence on my hand.  It says 'Rahul, da bomb.'  Everyone says it looks cool.  Then we went to the Warehouse to spend 50 dollars on our Diwali gift.

My Story

On Saturday morning my Dad and Mum woke me up because we are going shopping for hours.  I felt exhilarated.  My family and I had gone shopping at The Warehouse.  I bought some clothes.  My sister had bought a toy.  It cost 60 dollars.  After that I went to the beach with my family.  We built a sandcastle.  I had sand in my shoes and I built a sandcastle by myself.  It was cool.  My sister built a hill.  It was a small hill.  Then we went home. I had dinner.  We all had sop with rice and veges.  On the next day we had breakfast.  My sister had a cup of milk and jam with bread.  I had milk and cereal.  After that we went to the two dollar shop.  I bought some pencils and a book.  After I went to Mission Bay with my family.  I told my sister to find some shells for the castle.  My sister helped me and we built a big castle.  I made  a big river around it.  Then I had lunch.  It was delicious.  Then my sister went to built a shell hill.  Then we went back to the beach.  I had some shells. There were lots and lots of shells there.  After we went home and had dinner.  On Monday it was Labour Day.  I was playing upstairs.  My sister and I were throwing.  We had a skate shoe.  My one was blue and yellow and my sister had dark pink and light pink.  I had to play because she wanted it.  My sister was skating round a bit and then she got dizzy. After that I had my skates around the house.  I can't jump because I was apprehensive.    After we had lunch .  I loved it and it was a very great day.

My Long Holiday by Karabo

Yesterday my Mum said that on Tuesday it is her birthday.  We were so excited that its going to be her birthday.  My Mum did my hair .  It was yellow and black.  When she had finished my Mum's friends came to our house with a little boy.  I had to show him me and my sister's room.  It was so good that the boy gave us lollies.  When the visitors went home me and my sister ate 3 lollies and watched Daddy Day Camp.  It was sad and funny at the same time.  So my Mum said she had to go to work.  She works at the casino at Sky city.  It was going to be a big day for my Mum.  Its going to be her birthday.  She was happy.  I said it is going to be fine.  When she left I asked my Dad what he wanted for Christmas.  He did'nt say.  I told him what I wanted for Christmas.  I said "a Bratz Doll".  He said "O.k."

On Monday I went to the pools. When I got in the pool I done a backflip.  Then I swam to the bottom of the pool.  I was very scared when I got there because it was deep and dark.  Then i went back and said 'that was amazing'.  Then I went in the spa pool because I was very frostbitten.  When I got in the spa pool I felt very warm again.  When the waves came I ran to the pools where the waves were and went on this rope.  I fell off the rope and into the water.  Then I went back up the rope.  I tried to stay on the rope but I fell back in the water.  It concluded.  I went on the hydro slide after that.

Last Tuesday we went to assembly.  I was very excited and I did'nt know why team 3 and 4 were there.  Then a teacher chose some children from our class.  She told them to come with her.  They came back with things and a police officer came with them helping them put things near the stage.  I thought she was a new visitor.  She came to talk to us about dog safety.  She taught us about dogs and I was amazed.  She told us important things about dogs.  She told us dogs can be dangerous and can bite you.  So leave dogs alone when they are sleeping, eating or even playing by itself.  Sometimes when a dog is angry, staring at you don't run,just stand tall like a tree.  If it knocks you down roll up like a rock and cover your ears.  If you don't do this and you run the dog will chase you and bite your bum.  That's the most important things and then she said thank you.  After a while we went back to class and went home.

Yesterday a dog safety officer came to school.  Her name was Diana.  Diana told us  about dogs and what dogs you can't touch.  A dog is happy if their tongue is out, all of their teeth are showing and taking fast and deep breaths.  If you're in the park and you see an angry dog don't start to run.  Stand tall like a tree.

Yesterday the dog officer came to see us. She said when a dog is angry you shouldn't run away from it.  You should stand tall like a tree and if the dog knocks you down you have to curl up like a rock.  Then she said if the dog is wagging its tail it wants to play and if it has got its tongue hanging out.  If you disturb the dog when its eating it might bite.

Yesterday me and my class went to the hall.  We saw lots of people.  Next there was a van outside.

Kids had to help.  They said the dog was fake so it did not chase us or bite us on the bottom.  It was run to see lots of people stand and look at what you have to do when it is angry and when it has babies.

Yesterday the dog officer came to our school.  She said if a dog is angry you don't run away, you stand like a tree.  If the dog knocks you down you stand like a rock.  When it has run away you can stand up.  We don;t speak to dogs when they are playing with their favourite toy or when they are eating.  Don't disturb the mother when it has a baby.  Leave the dog when it is sleeping.  If you see a dog is not yours do not touch the dog.  When a dog is happy it puts its tongue out.  When a dog is scared or lost you call the dog safety officer.  She said the dog beside her is Lucky because it can go to any school with her.

Yesterday we had a visitor from animal control  She told us about dogs.  If a dog is chasing you stop immediately and stand still.  Then she told us that if the dog shoves you you curl up like a rock.  The dog will sniff you and go away.  Then she said if a dog's shoulder are up it's scared.  Do not touch it.  Next she said be careful when a mother is having puppies.  She said when a dog is eating don't disturb it. When a dog is angry be careful.  If a dog is sleeping don't touch it.  when you are walking past an unknown dog look out.  If you see a lost dog get an adult to call animal control and they will take care of it.  I love dogs. I wish I had one.

Yesterday a Dog Safety Officer came to our school with her dog Lucky.  She was talking about dogs and puppies.  First she was talking about how dogs and puppies feel.  If their tongue is out and teeth that means the dog is smiling and wants to play with you.  If a dog is showing his teeth that means his displeasure.  When a dog is scared the dog will be silent.  When a dog is having puppies don't touch the puppies and if it is eating or sleeping do not disturb.  If a dog is playing don't take it away.  If a dog is very disgruntled you must never run away because the dog will chase you. You have to stand still like a tree.  If it knocks you over you have to sit like a  ball and the dog will probably go away.

Yesterday we went to the hall after lunch and we saw a dog controller with her dog called Lucky.  She told us that when a dog is chasing you , you have to stand like a rock or a ball too.  Then she said that you cannot play with the dog's food before they go angry.  You are not allowed to touch the dog on the head, only his collar.  If the dog is sleeping  you can't disturb him.  Next she said  if a dog has puppies you have to be careful.  If a dog gives you a toy he wants you to play.   After she said if a dog is very discontent tell your parents about it and they will call the animal controller. When a dog wags his tail he likes you.  If you pull his tail he will bark at you.

Yesterday we went to the hall.  There was a lady and she came from the dog safety place.  She came and told us about dogs.  She said never touch a dog.  The lady said don't disturb dogs when they are eating and having puppies.  She said if you are scared stand like a tree but if it knocks you down cover yourself like a ball.  The lady said don't touch a dog on the head because when you touch the head it makes it fuzzy and weird.

In the weekend my aunty, my uncle, baby cousin and I went to Mac Donald's for dinner.  My baby cousin was playing on the play ground.  It was humorous because he sat on Ronald Mac donald and kissed Ronald on the lips  and I fall and hit my head on the ground.  After we were gone my baby cousin was still sitting on Ronald.  My baby cousin looked outside and there was no one there.  Then my baby cousin smacked Ronald.  It was uproarious.  It was an astonishing day.

On Monday I went to ten pin bowling and I got money.  We got toys to play with and we had fun playing with them.  Then we went to play a game and my dad.   It was fantastic.  Next we watched a movie.  It was Iman and was good.

The Holidays by Tremayne

In the holidays I helped my Mum to do things like get bread milk and milk.  I went to the shoops and she said get three drinks for us.  I biked home.  My dad helped me on the laptop.  Then it stopped and crashed.  We went outside to play. It was fantastic,  Me and my friend went to his house to play on our bikes.   Then it was home time.  I said bye.  I had dinner, it was delicious.

Yesterday I woke up, brushed my teeth and went to Sunday School.  When I got there it had already started.  We were all learning about Jesus.  When Sunday school finished we all went home.  I was eating ice cream.  Then I asked my dad if I can go on the computer.  When I got on I played the Heist.  I was the bad guy and I had to drive fast away from the police cars.  There were lots of police cars chasing me.  The next minute they all crashed.  After that it was night time   I watched Snakes on a Plane.  It is about a South Pacific Airlines flight 703 that had snakes.  When the plane took off I saw a boy and a girl kissing.  A snake was looking at them.  The snake bit both of them.  Then the breathing masks came out.  There were lots of snakes in them.  Some people were smacking them with  sticks.,  There was an agent.  He had something to shoot the snakes with.  When a man went to the bathroom he saw them dead.  After that all the people were building a wall with bags.  There was only one pilot because the other one died from the snake.  When the pilot was driving he saw one snake on the controls.  He was smacking the snake with a book.  I was scared.  After that the plan arrived at the air port.  Snake experts got into the cockpit and took the snake out.  

The Sleepover by Melvyn

On Thursday Karabo and Leorato came over for a sleepover.  They brought two movies and the sims 2.  We played with the toys and then we watched School of Rock.  Then we went to sleep.  On Friday we played Sims 2.  Then we changed and played ball tag outside.  We got tired and then I watched Taxi for an hour.  Then we played Octopus and it was really fun.  Then we traded our play station 2 games.  Then they went home.  We played a two player game on the computer and then we had dinner.  Leorato and Karabo came to pick us up.  We rolled bladed at Skateland .  It was awesome and then I went home.  At home we watched a movie called Hellboy.  It was horrific.  I was sent to bed early.  

Junior The Holidays

On Sunday we went to church and we had to sit down on the chairs.  It was fun there.  I ate a biscuit.  My cousin came over to my house and we had a fun holiday and we had lots of fun.  I went to the swimming pools.  It was fantastic when my Mum got her baby out.  She came back from the hospital on Sunday.  We had a bottle of milk.

Divali by Avishay

Yesterday I went to the Fiji Divali day.  It was lots of fun.  First we walked around the festival.  Then we saw a little show.  I played with my two cousins.  Later we went on a ride called the Spinning Teapot.  My two cousins got really dizzy because they were looking out of the cup but I was staring at them and it was a little bit dizzy for me too.  Later I got a long ice cream.  It was cold and it was frozen milk.  Then we all went home.  It was fantastic and busy.

Ariki MY HOLIDAY

On Monday last week it was my birthday.  First we got ready for my birthday.  Then my aunty came over and then my papa.  My other aunty arrived.  We played games and it was fun.  Next we ate lollies.  They were yummy.  My Mum's friend gave me twenty dollars and then my papa gave me fifty dollars,  We had to wait till everybody came.  When everyone did I said let's have a b.b.q. now and then we did.  We just played games while we were waiting. We had to be patient.  While we were waiting I got some presents.  I got a skate board and a t-shirt.  After that we had ice cream and some cake.  The cake was from my aunty.  I got the first piece of cake and ice-cream.  After that we played play-station.  It was cool.  Next we played monopoly.  Then we played go-home and stay- home.  Everybody played except the adults.  My cousins and me only played.  I got caught once and no more.  Then we played wrestling.  Me and my cousin got my older cousin down on the tramp and I was tickling him because he was ticklish.  My aunty gave me twenty dollars.  I said thank you and then my uncle gave me five dollars and then they went back home.  I got one hundred dollars in one day.

Yesterday we went to assembly.  Next the battery man came and he talked about the batteries.  The flat batteries go in the bin and where Mrs Cater's workshop is.

Mrs Cater talked about the rubbish in the bins.  The food scraps go in the food scrap bin and the yoghurt containers go in the green bin.  Mrs Eeles said the water goes to the treatment plant.  Then it goes to the sea.

He was born in Lancashire in England .  His statue is in Australia/  He is still dead.  He was  a very good man.  He was dead as famous.  Richard Seddon was brave enough to speak up to another prime minister.  He was a very special man.

Yesterday morning we went to an assembly.  When we were in the assembly Mr Nevezie told us we had a visitor from Battery world.  He said there's going to be a competition.  It's a battery competition and if you have the most batteries the school will win $500.  But we were not allowed to bring car batteries because it is dangerous and it can burn you.  Then Mrs Cater spoke to us and said something about rubbish.  She said to put the rubbish in the right bin.  If you have a banana skin or a orange peel you have to put it in the food bin.  If you have plastic you have to put it in the blue bin and the big bin is the other rubbish bin.

Yesterday we went to Assembly and we were listening to Mr Nevezie.  He told us about batteries and there's this guy from Battery World who spoke to us.  He said to collect any old batteries because there's chemical in them.  Then he said the school will have a competition.  After that Mrs Cater was talking to us and she told us about putting the rubbish in the correct bin.  Some people put it in the wrong bin.  Then Mrs Eeles told us don't put rubbish in the water because it will be dirty.  Some fish will die if we keep putting rubbish in the water.  We got the big bags so we could collect the old batteries.  Then we went back to our classroom.
